Mornin Y'all

Hahaha, I'm Here ! Well....I've been in New Hampshire for a whole month now, trying to get settled in, Christmas festivities, and now my favorite, the incoming "Blizzard". I just love a good storm.

Rick left this morning around 4:30 to start his plowing route, and I spent the day yesterday baking bread, stripping the Christmas Turkey and making cookies. YUM !

So here I sit, listenin to the wind ( love it ) and wishin it would snow MORE, MORE, MORE !

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.

Snow, Snow, Snow....So when are you coming over to help shovel?
Yep I was up at 3:30 when the power went out in Suissevale. Shoveled out my truck and the wife's car, then off to work....Not blowing as bad, but early this morning I thought I was going to get a tree to the head while out shoveling...Yikes it was blowing hard...
Rt109 was closed at the 109-109A intersection as well.

What is the VK?

Only the Best place around to eat. For the money..and you will need actual money....cash or check only....it is the best bang for the buck.
When we go, usually weekly, we are in and out in 30 -40 minutes. The waitresses are very nice and you can see the cooks working the kitchen which I always liked seeing. They work very hard in the Summer. I feel like I should be tipping them after simply watching them trough the window on a Sat night in July. I haven't been fro breakfast in a Long, long time. I have to get back for that. They used to have something called a Hunters breakfast or something like that. Huge portions for cheap money. The Hash brown fries thingys were great. Home made bread/toast......Mmmmmmm.....

What is the Village Kitchen..... I'm speechless.....

All I can say is, Me and the VK....

Well you might have seen it by the sign that says Country Cookin' But that is the VK. Just about 3/4 of a mile past the Middle school in Moultonborough, on the left heading toward Center Harbor.
When I first moved here I tried looking up Country Cookin' and asking 411. No phone number. Until I walked up to the door and saw the little sign that said Village Kitchen. Then I figured it out...
