Best Pizza??
As a self proclaimed "pizzaterian", I would like to ask for input as to the best Pizza in the Lakes Region. I will start with Anthony's in Center Harbor. Best I have had, but looking for better.

They don't have a pizza delivery boat that I am aware of (I wish they did). They are on the main strip in Wolfeboro, just up the hill by the pottery shop and the Yum Yum shop (on the same side of the street as the pottery shop). If you like the light crunchy crispy crust, this is an excellent place -- been going there (for the occassional treat) for years.

The pie Rattlesnake Guy had at Waldo Peppers tasted very good to me. (We always order light sauce so the flavor of the toppings are more prominent.)

Gas station pizza
As funny as this sounds my kids love the pizza at Noble Roman's in the Irving gas station in Meredith. We've been to Giuseppe's and Brother's in Meredith and Anthony's in Center Harbor but they insist on going back to the gas station every time. Go figure

Best Pizza...Mikes Ny Pizza
The best pizza I ever had was at Mike's NY Pizza (Weirs Beach). It looks like they closed shop this summer . Does anyone know what happened to them? Did they relocate somewhere else on the lake??????

Sadly they lost their lease
Very sad - Mike's lost their lease on the property. The Veterans own the property, and have plans to create a Veterans museum on the premises, thus the lease was not continued. They opted not to choose another location, and sadly are gone forever. I hate to see businesses close for lack of a lease.

Believe it or not, D.A. Long Tavern in Funspot has fantastic pizza. I'll go back there just to eat!

well, you know how I feel.
Guiseppe's was the best I've had in a long time. Even in Florida. But since I've been home, we have gone to this place here, called Cafe Stella. Very authentic food. It's on a par with Guiseppe's. Now I know where we will have to go when we come up for Erin's first birthday.
