thanks for the loan of your loons for the winter, they have been molting and growing in their summer feathers since around mid-march, there are still a few around but i suspect they will be gone over the next few weeks. now i get to enjoy them when i get back up to alton bay.

Thanks for taking such good care !!!
Our Loons arrived back in Winter Harbor around the beginning of April.. early I thought... 3 Loons to be exact. and more arrived 2 weekends ago. ( they love lake Winni too.) Although, they are very quiet, no great sounds yet .. So lucky to have them..... |

We had three winter loons at the mid-Jersey shore and they left around mid-April. (Thought we would be leaving with them, but sluggish real estate market keeps us here.)
