Who's the best real estate broker in Wolfeboro? I've had my property listed for a long time with no activity. I'm wondering if there are brokers that are actually getting some sales. Thanks.

I have had real good luck in the past with Jody Hughes of Spencer Hughes on Main st. in Wofeboro. The market is pretty sad right now, but if anyone can move it she can.

As a house hunter in Wolfeboro and a house seller in NJ, I can tell you this. If your house is priced too high you won't see ANY activity. It's a bargain hunt in real estate right now. I lowered the price on my NJ 80k since listing it and got a LOT of activity...but no reasonable offers. It's just matter of time. I know the price is right,
I wouldn't expect there to be much activity in Wolfeboro through the holidays. But as for recommending a realtor, I am using Judy McShane out of Gilford. (Coldwell Banker) She has got a great reputation and is passionate about her work. |

We recommend two realtors in Wolfeboro: either Carol Bush at Maxfield Real Estate, or Candy Sharp at Coldwell Banker. Both have many years of experience, are highly ethical and know how to match up people & homes. If you're buyinig or selling property in Wolfeboro, you should work with someone who really knows that market inside & out.

Spend $300-400.00 on a real estate appraisal to see what the value is. As others have stated my guess is that your price is too high. |

I would highly recommend Sharon Wells of Remax in Center Harbor. I know she isn't local to Wolfboro but she did an amazing job selling our property in Meredith. She was non-stop marketing our property including open houses with food served, agent/broker open houses, joint marketing with mortgage professionals and numerous printed materials including mail-outs. She has a list of buyers looking in the Lakes Region and sends continuous blasts. She also sold my friends property on Governor's Island.

Thanks to all for the comments and recommendations. Guess I'll hold off until March at this point, and get a fresh appraisal then.
