Usually Wolfeboro and Meredith have fireworks the night of the Fourth. Both are very good shows from the water. Alton has their show at midnight on July 3rd, again very visible from the bay.
Laconia's are not over the water. I don't know about other towns. Check the calendar on this site for times and more info. |

Center Harbor has theirs on the 4th, shortly after 9pm. Taking that in by boat is really nice. Just don't be in a hurry to get home afterward, from any of the displays on the lake. Between the large number of boats that need to spread out and all the boat wakes, and all of this in darkness, you need to pay close attention to everything around you. It's worth it, though.

So for those who have been out before, which one would you recommend? And where should you view from?
Thanks in advance! |

Thank you. As for Meredith, where in the bay is the best place to go, assuming you drop anchor?
