Drove by this past Saturday at around 3 pm. Lots of cars. Drove back again going home at 8 pm and it was closed. I was going to have dinner there, but it was locked up tighter 'n a drum. Who closes a place with a bar on a Saturday night in the Summer before 8pm? Was there a problem of some sort? Anyone?

Oh Yea , we went there on Friday evening around 730 and the kitchen was closed and offered drinks only . Can you imagine closing because your kitchen isnt able to keep up with the demand .

Same thing happened Friday night as well. I got the impression it was a "Bob" problem.

Has anyone been to the Bob House this week? I would like to head there tomorrow for my usual Friday night out.

Trying not to open anther thread so adding on here.
My wife and I went to the Bob house, or Bob's as she calls it on Friday night..... The waitress was pretty busy. I think everyone came in at the same time because all she could do was to bring out dinners to everyone. So it took a bit to get our first drinks, but for once I wasn't timing anyone. That's saying a lot. I had the Prime Rib. Naturally. I have to say it was not only good but it was extremely good. I think they need to add a 16oz size to the menu for us hungry meat eating guys. My wife had the Onion soup and the Haddock. For desert I asked for Ice cream and some hot chocolate syrup. (The waitress brought out two spoons. I tried to grab the second spoon away from my wife but no go.) She ate half of it. Damn that second spoon. ![]() ![]() |
