Our Masonic Lodge did our clean up on Rte 11 this morning, and I almost called it off because of the weather. Ended up with the showers moving up just west of us. Had a parade with the Shriner's this afternoon and just knew we would get wet.
Looking at the forecast this morning at 5 AM, I would not have given on penny on a bet that we would stay dry for either event. We did!!! Looking forward to good weather on the 19th. Tough call to make this morning, but a call made with the safety of the fireworks folks, and the public in mind.
