Bobcat sighting
So Friday afternoon my wife and I are heading out of WAM to close up our island camp for winter. As I came around the sharp bend half way down the channel I spotted a bobcat on the shore on the right hand side. As we got closer, instead of getting spooked and running back into the woods, it jumped into the water and swam across the channel right in front of our boat. We watched it cross and then come up onto land on the other side. It was awesome!! I've seen several bobcat in Maine while snowmobiling but this sighting seemed pretty unusual to us.
We both feel really lucky to have seen it. It made our day!

Had one take a nap on my porch a few years ago. Made my day.
