Lake Winnipesaukee Hat
I am a knitter and knitted hat designer. My latest is a Lake Winnipesaukee Hat with patterns of mountains, pine trees, and waves. It is dedicated to my grandfather and his friend Albert who traveled to West Alton from Boston area in 1930, bought their own undeveloped land, cleared it and built small camps for their families. These camps remain original today surrounded by LARGE homes. The hat is really dedicated to all the regular folks who did the same sort of thing, paddled canoes, swam naked, respected and loved Lake Winnipesaukee. I am doing a knitting workshop in March in Meredith and will share my story. I was wondering if anyone had a similar story I might share during my workshop? I live in Meredith also.

Where in Meredith are you doing your workshop? I'm looking for a learn-to-knit class.
And I'd love to see your hat!

The workshop will be at my house and many people are staying at Church Landing. Unfortunately this is not a learn to knit class. Probably an intermediate class. I will post a pic soon.
