Mise En Place 2015
I have written reviews for Mise En Place on a number of occasions over the years. It has been our place to celebrate any special event in our lives or when we think we deserve a special treat. It truly is a fine dining restaurant, of which we have very few around the lake.
We haven't been there in quite a few months and went last night to celebrate a birthday. Terri continues to be an amazing chef. There were a number of new menu items that we had never seen before. We both made the same choices. An appetizer special of parppadele pasta with a bolognese sauce was so delicious. It was actually a large enough portion to have served as an entree. I wish Terri would make it a permanent menu item and not just a special. We then had prosciutto wrapped scallops with mushroom risotto......FABULOUS!!!! It came with a vegetable and some kind of fig something. Huge portion! This restaurant with Terri at the helm is truly a treasure. When so many of our local residents are away in warm places at this time of the year, it's difficult for our local restaurants to thrive. If any of you hardy Lakes Region folk who are still in the area are looking for a very special evening, look no further than Mise En Place. You will be in for a real treat. |
