Morse Preserve Snowshoe Hike
Took a snowshoe hike on the Morse Preserve Property in Alton Bay. It is located at the corner of Alton Mt. Rd and Avery Hill Rd. Parking is on Avery Hill Rd at the Mike Burke area, about a quarter mile from Alton Mt. Rd. The trailhead is a little further down on the left. Here are some pictures.

Here are some more pictures
Georgeous views, not a difficult hike. First picture here is from a field near the start looking up to the summit (white area on the top ridgeline), and then a view from the summit down to the field.

Thanks UP,
The hike up Pine Mt AKA Alton MT on the Morse property has the highest reward/effort ratio in the Belknap Range. More that a 180 deg view. http://www.winnipesaukee.com/forums/...ighlight=morse |

Nice pictures Dave. It looks like a great day for the adventure you and the wife had. Thanks again for posting. I would love to make the hike up there, but having the disability makes that wish impossible.
