Ackerly's Alton
Last night we went out with friends to Ackerly's in Alton. We had gone there for lunch last week and were very happy with the food and service. Dinner did not disappoint. Three of us had the stuffed haddock special and the other had swordfish. Everything was cooked just right. Prices were reasonable.
If you haven't tried this place, it is worth trying. |

Right in beautiful uptown Alton.
Located on Main Street (Rte 11) in the same space as Fiddlehead Farms. It is across the street from Alton Family Medicine, and next door to the Alton Animal Clinic.
It was formerly the Main Street Café, and some years back known as the Homestead. It is about a half mile west of the Alton Circle on Rte 11. Probably more info than you really wanted.

Baked Omelets
Gee- I hadn't seen these in 15 years !
Baked to order omelets are great if you haven't tried them before- no grease and nice and fluffy - you can create your own - must be a 100 possible combinations! |
