Good bye Tess
It is with deep sadness that I have to tell my Forum Family that my husband I had our beloved Tess (avatar pix) pass away last week. She hadn't been feeling well for a few days, not eating, panting alot, and was extremely restless so we rushed her to the emergency vets late last Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning we had to make "that" horrible decision as she was diagnosed with Sepsis. She was 9 1/2 years old and filled our lives with such happiness every single day. Although she never set foot in the water, she was most definitely not a water dog, she loved being with us when we were on our two week family vacation to NH. She will be forever missed. We love you our puppy chow!

Like the others, I am so So sorry for your loss. Our pets are such a key part of us - it is so hard to go on when they're gone. We've been there - - -

Sorry about Tess
It is so hard to make "that" decision, but sounds like it was the correct thing to do. I have been in that position 5 times now... never easy. I agree with Dan, Tess lived a good life in a loving home. I hope your heart will heal with warm memories of her.

I am so sorry to hear about Tess. Losing a pet is so devastating. We lost our 19 year old cat last fall. We buried her in the yard and i still talk to her everyday. A pet is never forgotten and it is loved forever. We are presently looking for two sibling kittens. I know it may be too soon, but the NH Humane Society just found two crates of puppies outside their building. They will be available for adoption very soon.

Very Sorry
Very sorry to hear of your loss of Tess, GrandmaBig6. The sentiments donnamatrix and ishoot308 expressed are spot on. Pets are family, and although the pain of losing her is no doubt hard to bear, you will always have wonderful memories of her and know that, thanks to you, she had a good life.
