Raw Spring weather
I was wondering if anyone has been discouraged from salmon fishing by this crappy weather?
I would think the weather of late would be great for fishing (the fish don't care) My boat is only going in for the first time on Friday so I'll be trolling from then on. |

The cold weather and rain has kept an area I fish very productive. Usually by now the salmon have started to move on out of there. Other areas I would normally be fishing this time of year are very slow but will pick up as the weather and water warms this week. So I guess the cool weather has retarded the migration to and from certain areas at least that's what I am seeing....

They are still up top went out for a couple hours late Friday between 5-7 PM and caught 3 that were probably legal but let go to be caught another day. Only had a couple colors of lead core out. Water temp is just over 50 degrees but that was before this last round of rain.
