Default Laconia Livesaving Fund Auction at NASWA this Saturday 7/23

I just wanted to let all of you know that there will be a sports memorabilia auction to benefit the Laconia Lifesaving Fund this Saturday, July 23rd, at NASWA. The proceeds of the auction will help fund operating costs of the rescue boat that was purchased in honor of Mark Miller. The auction will start at 11am.

The fire fighters who are getting their various dive certifications have been doing this on their own time with their own money. Hopefuly none of us will ever need their services, but its comforting to know they are there.
It's a great cause, and I hope a lot of you can make it.

Auction

Default Excellent Cause

I went to the Auction this past winter at Goodfellas, it was a tremendous success and a lot of fun as well. The items up for auction we top notch, a lot of autographed items and some incredible prints. An excellent time was had by all. Count me in, I'll be there this Saturday.

Default Upwards of $7k raised.....

Upwards of $7k raised..... This will help keep the Fire Rescue Boat and the Laconia Dive Team going for a bit. A little known fact, is the dive team members have paid for their education, supplies, equipment, suits, gear etc. out of their own pockets and done their training on their own personal time. Every contribution helps. Remember, these are the guys and boat that will be their if you ever need it (lets just try to be safe boaters).

Thanks for the update Outlaw. My entire family are involved with our local fire dept so I know how important raising that money is.

Default Volunteer - it could save a life.....

You're very welcome Lin. Supporting the Fire Department and especially the Laconia Fire Rescue Boat is very important to me and I hope is important to all our boaters out on the many NH lakes.
