The Old Bittersweet
I was driving down Center Street in Wolfeboro and noticed some construction activity on the long abandoned restaurant up on the hill. It appears some landscaping is being done, including the construction of a rock wall and some tree removal. Does anyone know if this property will be a restaurant again? Though I never was a customer, the space from the street always seemed to have a high charm potential.

I have not heard anything lately but I did notice a bit of work going on, too. We ate there many, many times over the years and had many company parties there. The last I heard was that it was not going to be a business. It has been too long since it was a business. But maybe they could get a special exception?
