We are considering selling our home on Sleepers Island due to some health issues and just not getting there as much as we would like. This is a very well constructed 1400sqft home with 100ft of waterfront featuring a sandy beach and dock. It sits in a protected cove with beautiful views of Treasure Island. Permanent dock has deep water access and does not require a bubbler, etc. Home is well constructed, built in 2001 and features Anderson windows, gas fireplace, painted tongue and groove walls and hardwood floors throughout. Main house is 3 bedrooms, 2 baths with full laundry. There is also a bunk house with 2 sets of bunk beds, AC and wall mounted TV with antenna. The property also features a stone fire pit, house antenna, WiFi, path to island walking trail, ultraviolet and particle water filters and enclosed, locked under house storage. Home will be sold turn key and completely furnished. Email us at Jenny.davis@comcast.net for more information, photos, etc.

You should put this in the real estate section. There has been a lot of people on this forum looking for an Island home. Good luck with the sale and you health situation.

Curious about island homes like this one. Where does one leave their car and boat when traveling to and from the island?

Each island is part of a mainland town...therefore, the town makes allowances at certain marinas to let people park by permit. This is how I understand it anyway.

Many islanders own boat slips in places such as Mountain View Yacht Club. For Gilford islanders you can also park and dock at Glendale. Other towns have similar arrangements.

Or you buy/rent a slip @ a marina near your place.

Islanders rent boat slips at marinas near the island. We have a slip at West Alton Marina. Many of our neighbors use Minge Cove. Some also rent docks from private owners on the mainland. Sent from my iPhone using Winnipesaukee Forum mobile app |
