For those that may be curious; this is my set-up for attracting and getting images of birds and other critters in our yard; along with a few recent images from there.
I have repurposed our kid's old swing set. A few feeders, a few branches, a few strategically placed tree stumps for the birds to land on and all I need to do is sit patiently at our picnic table and wait for the birds and other critters to stop by. If you look very closely at the first image you can see the chipmunk on top of the cinder block. He works cheap. ![]() ![]() Goldfinch ![]() White-breasted Nuthatch ![]() Chipping Sparrow ![]() and last but not least the Chipmunk ![]()

Your photos are excellent! I知 a Canon dslr guy but your Sony takes really nice photos. I知 planning ahead for when I have a lot more time for photography (retired) and I was thinking of buying a new body and long lens. Your camera may be the solution I知 looking for.

I was a Canon shooter for many years. My main body was a 7D2 and my main birding lens was a Canon EF 400 f5.6L. The Sony is much better in many ways, not the least of which is 24 FPS and a far superior focus system.
