Old Waldo Peppers Building Gone
I just received these pictures of the old Waldo Peppers restaurant being torn down. I'll always have fond memories of Waldo's, the owner Pepper, a really great "mini" Forumfest and lots of delicious lobster rolls.

The campground that is behind the restaurant building is adding 4 more campsites. That was approved last night at the Laconia Planning Board meeting.

Just another sign of the end of civilization as we know it.
So many happy memories of Waldo Peppers.

Always sad to see a landmark disappear. Is 4 more campsites really progress?

Favorite memories
Some of our favorite boating memories was midweek taking a ride to the Weirs, dock, and walk over to Waldo Pepper's. I had a FB memory come up last July, I believe, where we were at Waldo Pepper's with two of our grandchildren. Our toddler granddaughter is now 15 and grandson is almost 21. Here's a picture from that day. Pepper had recently donated her long red tresses to St Baldricks. Sure do miss the smile, the Pepper hugs, and trying to decide how I wanted my lobster roll, hot or cold. Thank God for memories like this.
