We have some wood chairs that have been painted many times that I would like to have stripped. I seem to remember reading on this forum about a local place would dip the piece to strip it. Does anyone have a recommendation? Many thanks!

If anyone has recommendations, I would be interested as well. We have an old wooden rocking chair that needs refinishing and new seat and back upholstery. One of those projects we haven’t gotten around to for years.

Might want to try the local chamber of commerce. There was a woman downtown Laconia that did cane a few years back
