Been waiting for PYO blueberries but haven't seen any yet. Wondering if the rain messed up the crop this year

We have wild blueberries and so do our neighbor and we both agree it's not a very good year. They are very small and scarce.

The Royers at "Angelic Farm" on the neck road have had their PYO sign out for some time, was still out when I went by Tuesday. But their web site currently states "Demand has exceeded supply." I sent an email; I'll post the reply. He has three varieties, and they come ready to pick at different times, so maybe the later one is still there for picking. Edit: he has replied "Angelic Farm is alive 8am till 5pm daily till the beginning of September with the heavy laden late variety (Elliots)." Last edited by DickR; 08-12-2021 at 03:43 PM. I'm told it was a pollination issue. Not sure why.

Ha, I thought it was my imagination. I had incredible blueberries last year on my one high bush---huge and copious. This year I picked about 2 cups total.

I agree, we have about a dozen blueberry plants and our early crop was ok. But our later varieties not so much. Last year year we had 20+ qts. But this year only 6-8 qts so far.
