I have a new refrigerator being delivered this coming week. It has external water and ice-maker. In prep for delivery,
I have shut-off the water connection (1/4" copper line), that connects to the back of old fridge. I'm assuming the line has a standard nut that screws on to the fridge threads. I'm hoping all I have to do is thread that bolt to the threads on new fridge (plug & play)....... Do I need to do anything else ? I was told 'do not' put teflon tape on the threads, and it can actually cause leaks. Thoughts ? |
