old schools in Alton, nh

I have been all over this forum and gallery. I can't find any information about the real old schools in Alton ,NH. Can anyone here enlighten me. Please

Interesting subject. Where was this school located? Is it the school that was relocated across the ice-covered lake in later years?

There is an original one room school house that is located in East Alton, it is a private residence today.

It was on school st in 1907. It was the High school. Later two wings were added . later still It burned. I think?
