We paddled by the famous swing a couple weeks ago and wondered if Santa would be making an appearance this year. Merry Christmas!

How many years has this tradition been going on? I seem to remember it from the very early days of the forum!

I love to see this. He sure has some guts. Does he advertise every year so people know when he’s making the jump?

Many years ago, when he was a teenager, my oldest son started taking a Christmas dip into the lake.. He did this for about 15 years, and then he asked his younger brother to do it with him. Unfortunately, this was the last time he went into the lake on Christmas Day because there was a skim of ice, and when they were running through, the ice cut their legs so badly that when they came out of the water, there was just blood everywhere .
We enjoyed it for all those years!
