Yankee Smokehouse

I know the smokehouse isn't exactly in the lakes region but it is a must every time I make the trip from PA to the cabin on Winter Harbor. I am looking forward to my first trip to the smokehouse almost as much as my first trip across the broads to deliver the boat to its dock. Anyone else love this place as much as me?

You mean the place at the intersection of Rtes. 25 & 16?

My kids refer to it as "The Piggy Place." We stop there for lunch on the way to Camp Huckins from Melvin Village. There's always an impressive array of Harleys parked outside. Love the pork BBQ & ribs...

Sounds like a place we would like to visit - exactly where in the Lakes Region is it?

The Smoke house is located at the junction of Rt 25 and Rt 16 in Ossipee. If you get on 25 in Meridith and follow it to the end ( about 20 Miles) it will be on your right. You will probably smell the Pork and see the smoke before you get to it. Enjoy and plan of getting dirty fingers.
