Default ExpertGPS links with Terraserver

Terraserver is a great site. It was started by Microsoft, to prove that their database could handle lots of data and perform well. While the pictures are quite a few years old, the resolution is amazing. There is an application you can buy for about $65 that will pull the pictures from that site, and stitch them together on your hard disk. It also links with a topographic map site so you can pop back and forth from topo and satellite pics. You can even scan in a Bizer map and calibrate it with the other maps. It is fun to scroll around NH using it. Once you get used to the tool, you can use it with a GPS. You can drive or boat around with a visual, topo, or Bizer zoom-in of where you are. Its a great way to find unique sites. Check out http://www.expertgps.com

Default Huge clearing near Alton...

That site opened up at Alton Bay for me.

There's a huge new clearing of the forest about a ¼-mile east of the bandstand near route 28. Is Alton Bay getting an airport?

It must have taken them such a long time to compile the aerial shots for the whole United States. Some of the places I checked out were upwards of 10 years old. No matter, they are great anyway!

Try this site.

Type your address in and let it load. Give it time to load, it my take a minute or so. Once the photo is up you can fly around and look at surrounding areas.
