Exterminators on the islands?

Has anyone used an exterminator on the islands? I just called Modern Pest and was quoted $749 for a 1 time and $1500 for a yearly service!!! This was with me getting them to and from. The same company who we have used before charged us $125 per quarter for a 4700 square foot home are quoting us 3 times as much for a home less than half the size.

We have spiders that could carry away small children, we are starting to see the same ones that are around the dock in the house. Ants too, tons of them.

Watch out for those carpenter ants, they are nasty.
