The Willows over in the Weirs
I gotta tell everyone " The Willows " located in the Weirs are the best value for a place to dine. Every Wednesday & Thursday they have a buffet to die for. Jumbo shrimp, Haddock, Scallops, Prime Rib, Salads with mouth watering desserts. All for a low price of $16.95. Great atmosphere and food what more can I say.

Not only that, but on Sundays from 10 to 2 they have a brunch for the same price that includes all those dishes plus an omlet station and eggs Benedict. We haven't tried the brunch yet but we can vouch for the dinner buffet. Outstanding!!!

Very Good Meal
Hi all,
We tried the Willows (with some friends) yesterday. In the past, we not impressed, but this was very good. I had the bourbon steak and my wife had the lobster ravioli. I also found out that they have $1 beer from 5:00 to 6:00 every night. So, the Willows is now on my recommended list. Give it a try. Jetskier |

I'll vote two thumbs up for the Willows Sunday Brunch Buffet. Absolutely yummy and how can you go wrong for $16?

Willow's gets 2 thumbs up!!
We have attended several buffets there and they are incredible!! You can not go wrong. The only complaint is that kids 8 and over pay full price. That's my only gripe. I think 12 and over should pay full price.

My husband and I had dinner at Willows a few Fridays ago with some friends. We sat at the bar and the service was excellent! The food was very good as well.

You gotta remember, thats all the Prime Rib, and all the peel and eat shrimp, and all the Eggs Benedict you can eat Plus everything else thats available. I don't know about you, but I can easily eat more than $16 in shrimp alone!! We have been known to drive up from Concord just for their buffet. Outstanding!!!

Willows at the Weirs
The Willows is in the small shopping center on 11B next to the former Dexter Shoes and just below the Go-Kart track. I believe years ago the Corning Outlet was in that building prior to their move to Tilton.

If you want to "Mapquest" it -- it is the small mall on the corner of Lucerne Ave and Rte 11B -- there is a new Dunkin Donuts in there -- Across from the Fire Station
We too have had a couple of very good experiances in there this past season. If I'm not mistaken, it is somehow got a connection (personal / not professional) with the Naswa -- I believe I heard the daughter startedd it ??

I think the best way to remember where the Willow's is located is that it's in the same plaza as the Winnipesaukee Playhouse!!!
We, and Willow's, are in the Alpenrose Plaza, Rts. 3 and 11B, Weirs Beach. If you want to mapquest, our street address is 36 Endicott Street East, Laconia. There is a personal relationship with the NASWA as the owner is married to one of the NASWA daughters. I don't think there is any professional relationship. |

Thanks Winniplayhouse -- I thought there was a connection to the Nazwa -i.e. personal !!
Sorry I didn't include the Playhouse in the verbal description to locate you guys (me bad) and we stay right there on Lucerne Ave (me double bad).

Awesome!
Me and my fiance visited the Willow's for their dinner buffet on a Thursday night roughly two weeks ago. We were both equally impressed. The food was really good, everything was presented so nicely, and the service was excellent as well. Super friendly, smiling waitstaff. Well worth the $16.99.
Usually places will use those tiny shrimp for buffets. Not the Willows. Those shrimp were nice, big and fresh. In chef speak, 16/20's or U-15's. If you haven't been yet, your missing out |

Anyone know if the Willows still serves their infamous Sunday Brunch -- or was that Seasonal.
Heading up the Lake this week-end and don't want to get let down after driving over there this Sunday.

1/2 price entree's tues nights
Check out Willows on tues. 50% off all dinner entree's!! Always a wonderful experience. Great food, great service, and a nice atmosphere to boot!
Sorry Nadia, I am going to have to correct you, The shrimp on the buffet are U-10's, or 13/15's, much bigger than u-15's. (13/15 means, 13 to 15 shrimp to a pound) |

Willows
My first experience was awful. A long wait and cold food. I sucked it up and gave it another try. Second time was better. Since then I have enjoyed going there and sitting upstairs at the bar area. Great service and many nice people to meet and talk with. I look forward to Tuesday nights 1/2 price meals when I am in town. The only thing that I would wish for in the future is that the meals come out hotter. Thats my only complaint. I feel I need to put that out so if others feel the same, maybe management could take care of it. Again, I recommend this great place to all who visit. They do have great food and its a great place to meet people.

Willows Restaurant
What's the story on the Willows Restaurant being for sale. Any info on this? I know in the summer there mixed drinks are very expensive and the food is just okay. Maybe they lower their prices for the winter crowd.

Willows
Willows located at the old Dexter Shoe Plaza just over the Weirs bridge should be considered when your headed out for dinner. It appears that they try real hard. It's not the best food. Matter of fact its average. They are always having some kind of promotion. Mondays evenings are Men's night. Tuesday PM is womens night. On those nights your appetizer to dessert are 1/2 price. They have Prime Rib & Seafood buffets on Wed & Thursday PM's. They also have a nice brunch buffet on Sunday. Most local restaurants only have these type of promotions in the winter which is the slow season. I wish them well. The staff is always very polite. Be careful of the desserts. They're GIANT!!
