Default Pavilion updates?

Does anyone have any updates on recent progress (or lack of such) or future plans for development of the Alton Bay Pavilion project? Haven't heard anything since the fire.

Default No Visible Progress

I dorve through Alton Bay this Tuesday and the pavilion is fenced in with no progress at all visible. It is just a burnt-out and frozen mess right now.

I do not see how they can get anything ready for sale until 2008, at the earliest.

I think they've been doing some work inside, but I could be completely wrong also.

I stopped by this afternoon and it looks like a big frozen mess inside with insulation hanging down every where and there isn't a roof on 90% of it, just in the very front

I'm down that way at least twice a week and I haven't seen a lick of progress. Right after the fire they brought in some heavy machinery and started in on that back corner, then all progress just stopped. I wonder why....

Latest I had heard a week or so ago, was that the insurance company had not finished their investigation, and given the cold weather, I can understand not being in a rush to try to anything at this point.

I saw them working on it yesterday, and was cursing myself for forgetting my camera. Ahhh well.

It seemed like that last snow storm caused even more damage. I wonder if that sped up, or stopped the investigation, or if it's just coincidence that they've started the demolition now.

Unhappy Nothing Left

The remains of the historic Alton Bay Pavilion are now completely gone, except for a concrete slab and the flagpole.

These two shots were taken today.
