According to this article on MSN, NH ranks 39 out of 50 states for the lowest overall tax burden.
http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com...es.aspx?page=2 NH has the 2nd highest property tax as % of home value and contrary to popular belief, does have an income tax on interest and dividends. This system is bad for some, good for others with higher earned income. I say leave it the way it is, because if they start messing with the system it will only get worse. Taxes will not drop. |
