I remember going for my first store bought haircut as a tiny kid, I was holding on to the door handle of the car for dear life, screaming while my Dad had me by the feet and I was suspended in the air between the car door and my Dad ! he was a real 'old time yankee' & he'd always give you a candy bar when you were finished.
