	 | Those Evil Webcams

Here I sit on a Beautiful Sunday morning taking a break from my chores watching the lake via webcam. How can it be possible that the lawn mowing, pool cleaning, garden weeding, truck washing and picking my wife up from the airport all fall on a awesome Sunday. Its just not right! I feel like a kid with my nose pressed against the candy store window and not a coin in my pocket. I"m not certain if I can go all week, Saturday seems so far away. |

Yeah, you chose poorly today... It was beautiful on the water in spite of the forecast. It was fun to see the number of folks just lounging in the water, in their tubes and hanging off docks to beat the heat. But Saturday isn't far off -- you can make it! |

	 | Not the only one

Mac, you weren't the only one not at the Lake. Looked like lots of people stayed away because of the forecast. Too bad. We had a few sprinkles Saturday morning but the rest of the weekend was glorious. In fact, the last 5 days have been the best of the summer. Let's hope the warm & sunny weather stays.

	 | Oh to be a Weather Forecaster!

Two weekends in a row where the forecast was totally blown. Not a top ten yesterday but it was great none the less. No boat traffic, no wind and a great day to sit on the dock. BT

	 | BT - Do you own JoJo's?

JoJo's has a sign up saying "Are any weather forecasters accurate?" Needless to say, I asked the cashier who the person was who was dissing the forecasters...she said it was the owner. I told her to let him know there were two meteorologists staying on Buzzel Cove for the week. I'm here, I'm a thunderstorm repulsor, so no need to worry. Rose P.S. - notice I said I'm a thunderstorm repulsor...I didn't say anything about rain. |

I'm glad I don't do it for a living, and I'm certainly glad I'm not doing it right now. The upper level pattern is more reminiscent of spring, and that's always a tough time to forecast. I knew there would be showers around Saturday to today, but if I did it for a living, I'd hammer into my audiences head that thunderstorms are REALLY difficult to place accurately, both in time and space. Except where I am...then they won't happen. | |
