Stopped for breakfast at George's on Sunday morning (what a beautiful day). I'm curious if anyone knows why there is a crane rig out in front of the docks.
What an eyesore! |

Also made docking on those fingers a bit challenging with boats tied up on both ends.

I think they install extra pilings for the boat show so the boats can perpendicular park the oldies, therefore fitting more boats. I bet they are there to remove them. Just a guess, as i don't know this for certain.

We were there a couple of weeks ago and saw a stack of new pilings on the ground. Noticed that pilings on one or two of the docks had newer large diameter round pilings while older ones were square or rectangular. We figured they were replacing all the remaining pilings with the large round ones.
