Thanks folks. That makes sense because it is pouring in Boston! Unfortunately, NH couldn't stay all snow....

Precipitation at Black Cat started as snow and sleet just after midnight and only accumulated a slushy 0.2" by 4:00 a.m. That accumulation remained, as a mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain came down during the morning hours. Rain total was 0.46" (includes melted equiv) but the accumulation of frozen stuff still required Moultonborough's plows to come around and scrape the street this morning.
If you have ice or slush covering any walking surfaces, scrape it up today because there's cold air coming our way. |

Snow started about 11am where we are and ended around 8pm. Based on my crude measurement, looks like 6" of light fluffy snow.

Record warmth? I'm not sure I buy the "record" part of your statement. A year ago this coming weekend the temperature topped out in the low seventies in Boston! What a difference a year makes...

I heard record warmth too for this weekend, maybe even hitting the 50's. Course then they said earlier in the week we were supposed to get 4 to 10 " of snow and got only about 3" before it turned to rain, so when you look out the window or walk out the door you'll know what the weather is like, lol.
