Weirs Beach Smokehouse

Just heard today that the Smokehouse had some bad plumbing issue's this past weekend and has closed for the season rather than the usual October closing, anyone know the scoop

They were planning on closing after this coming weekend. Unfortunately their industrial hot water tank went belly up Saturday night. I don't know if it could have been replaced that quickly, but it doesn't make sense to put in a new one, stay open for 1 week and then shut it all down, so it was decided to close a week early and replace it in the Spring before opening for the season.

I saw their sign on the way home from work the other night and was surprised that they had already closed for the season. Sorry to hear they are having difficulties, but glad to hear that they are not disappearing permanently.
