	 | Snow in Gilford?

I am thinking of coming up this weekend. What are the conditions in Gilford? Is there still a lot of snow on the ground?

YES there is snow. 18° now, and not going above 30. No melting. Here's a handy link to keep as favorite: http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick...ield2=-71.4803 If you stay in hotel, no biggie. If you stay in uninsulated camp, think twice, especially if near frozen lake. If I can guess: Saugus to Gilford= 90 miles and about 90 minutes. I've taken day trips longer! |

Thanks, no-engine. I usually consult weather.com. It does look like it will be warming up toward the weekend, though, which means lots of slush. The trip from my house is 97 miles and it usually takes me 1 hr. 50 minutes with no traffic. I miss the area and the house, and yes, it is on the lake and it does have heat, so I just may do it. Pray for sun AND warmth! !

I live near Bobby's Girl Diner on 104, and we had snow flurries a few times yesterday. First it was blue skies, then snow, then I look out the window and it's blue skies again. It did this multiple times throughout the day. Blue skies today, and chilly (23) Wed is sun & near 50, so that looks like a good day to go out and explore. Kirk |

	 | Hi There!

Still plenty of snow... we have 2+ feet of snow in the yard. (YUK) and the park still has a good amount. Roads are good, but with all the trees, still not much melting going on. On the other hand... we leave Monday for Key West to see David and Sarah! YEAH!
