Merrymeeting River Eagle
A friend took several shots of this eagle as he ate his lunch in a tree across the river from us. Very cool!

Nice photo, thanks.
Matt the photographer in Alton Bay has a number of fantastic prints of eagles along the Merrymeeting. He told us that the eagles especially like the area around the fish hatchery. |

Merrymeeting River Eagle
The fish hatchery is located just south of Merrymeeting Lake and dam, near New Durham. It's a very interesting place to visit.

Just follow the signs to Merrymeeting Lake from the Alton traffic circle. You can't miss it.
