Default I was shocked

My brother works at one of the chain supermarkets. We were quite shocked to learn that when that chain "steams a lobster" for a customer it involves putting the lobster into a microwave oven. Besides creating what must be the worst microwave oven in the world, this does not sound like a very good way to cook a lobster. You might want to ask next time you get the fix ens for your roll.

I found out this is true of Shaws in Gilford. Heaths in Center Harbour still steams the olde fashion way (if you call 24 hrs in advance)

Default chalk it up to quality control

We went to Red Hill Tuesday afternoon, and as always my lobster roll was perfection, the best around. I mixed it up a bit and got the onion rings instead of fries, and they rocked, as well! My husband gets the big fisherman's platter every time we go, then wants a bite of my lobster roll. I don't think so, bub. Get yer own!!

Don't know where he works but I always purchased Market Forge pressure steamers ($5,000+/-) for chain I worked for. Even some of the smaller places use them. Very quick and easy.

Default Commercial steamer

Last year Heath`s bought a commercial steamer and now will steam lobsters while you wait. Takes about 20 minutes to steam up to 5-6. No more 24 hour notice.
