What next? You're going to tell me that my veal parm from last night was actually a baby calf, that never got to run around and play with the other calfs? Or that too much TV is probably not good for kids? Or that texting while driving is probably not a good idea? Or that we really don't recycle enough in this country? McD's is a place to go for one reason, and one reason only...it tastes good. I'm sure that your story is accurate, but my guess would be that, based on the crowds that visit their stores on a daily basis, and the lack of dead bodies in the parking lot, their product, in moderation, is basically safe to eat. I'm sure that in it's rawest form, the meat and processes to clean it are far from appealing. I believe that to be common knowledge. But in the end, it tastes good, and I'm sure is safe to consume. |

Hey Taco Bell adds silicon dioxide to their meat. Sound familiar? That's sand. They add sand to their meat to keep it from clumping during shipping. Is it safe to eat sand? Sure. You want to....even if it tastes good? Have at it. |

I don't think the Hoki looks any different than any other fish.

No matter how often you pass around the Hoki... sand... ammonia... fat... calories... sodium... and cholesterol....
... it won't make this dead horse you're beating taste any better...

Maybe it's time to start doing veggie burgers. With a slice of cheese and some ketchup, they're not bad. The fast food world is just too dangerous! I just hope nobody's got some horror story about ketchup!

Do you mean the high-fructose corn syrup with salt and red coloring? Nah ... no horror stories.

I got my first look at the new McD’s this weekend and even bumped into the Grimace – an honor to be sure. After reading all the anti Mickey D posts in this thread, I expected the food police to be at the door barring me entrance. However, throwing caution to the wind, I snuck in and ordered a McRib. Enjoyed it to no end. Tomorrow it is back to eating healthy.

I cannot remember my last purchase at any McD site, and fact is I drive by both the new Laconia and the Meredith site almost every day.
When on a road trip, I might stop to use the rest room. It's predictable! I have same opinion of all the other "fast foods". You want to see a large greasy cheese burger, I saw a post of one on facebook! A visitor was discussing the restaurant in Atlanta famous for their burgers. |

McDonald is open early in the morning. They no longer serve breakfast Monday-Friday. Had to go down the street to DD for my Egg McMuffin.

Seriously? Geez. The Egg McMuffin is actually a pretty good option for a fast food breakkfast. Protein, lean meat and a few carbs. |

Am I reading your post correctly, Broadhopper? What’s the purpose of McD’s opening early if they don’t serve breakfast anymore? Does the drive thru serve only coffee and their usual daytime menu during those hours? I sure wouldn’t fancy a burger and fries at that time of the day.

Upon further investigation, I was told that they still serve breakfast until 10:30 AM. They switch to their lunch-dinner menu after that time. It seems the Egg McMuffin is alive and well, but you have to get there early to partake.

Do you think the two posed seated on the chair were photo-shopped into that posed photo.....it's doesn't look like a "real" photo....it looks like it was photo-swapped....Teresa & Johnny-Boy......here's my friendly suggestion they name their new 3.5 million dollar sailboat the S.S. Ketchup....and go look for a boat accessable Mickey-D's....in Newport, R.I. ....and gobble up a one-dollar mcdouble cheeseburger with some extra ketchup......lots-o-luck...

A mcdonald's that does not do breakfast......hmmmm.....hard-to-believe...something smells fishy here.....and it's not the Alaskan Pollock used in the fillet-0-fish sandwich.....say it ain't so.....a mcdonalds that don't do breakfast is like like a day without any sunshine....a day without your home town spending more money....a day without a political argument...or a day with 95-cent gasoline....does it really exist....a mcdonalds that don't do breakfast.....someone say it's just a joke and that it ain't so.
Of course they do breakfast, how can a mcdonald's not do breakfast? That's about the craziest thing I ever heard!

by the cashier behind the counter that they do not do breakfast Monday to Friday. Guess the left hand is out of the loop of the right hand.

Wow...that is very odd. I assume you were there before 10:30.
If this is the case, I can't imagine they are even open at all at, say 8 or 9 AM. Must be closed until 10ish anyway. Would be strange to staff up, and open, just to serve coffee. Is it possible that, being a new building, the breakfast equipment simply has not been installed yet???? Just a guess. Equipment is probably all the same... |

Do you think the two posed seated on the chair were photoshopped into the awkward position.....it's doesn't look like a "real" photo....it looks like it was manipulated....Teresa & Johnny-Boy......here's my friendly suggestion they name their new 3.5 million dollar sailboat the S.S.
