Why should the Laconia City Council have any influence over the speed limit? I suppose as individuals they are entitled to their personal opinions, but who are they to take a particular side on an issue that has not been voted on by the citzens/taxpayers of Laconia? In addition, if they feel it's ok to state their support, then my organization (the Flying Pig Preservation Society of Gilford) will hereby state its support for SB 27.
