That is not the important factor. What you need is a contractor that will guarantee that they will install the roofing material exactly the way the manufacturer requires. That will and is the only way to take advantage of the manufacturers warranty for repair that can extend up to 50+years depending on the product.
I am in complete agreement on this. Roofing mfg will do all they can to show sloppy installation as the culprit and back out of the warranty. I would find a mfg certified roofer to do the install. Page Roofing in Gilford is certified by the roofing mfg to do correct installation. They are a great outfit to deal with.
