Yes, heaven forbid a hundred boats sitting in front of my place! I wouldn't like it. I do pay a lot of taxes to have a little peace.

I understand some like quiet and privacy so to each their own...I say the more the merrier, come anchor in front of my place. Most likely you'll swim to shore and join the party. It would take quite a bit of noise for me to move you along.

As long as they have a 'full" floating cooler that they are bringing ashore!

Default Fact of the lake

For those who have live on the lake all their lives, rafting in front of the property is a fact of life. It's been done for decades.

If you are looking for peace and quiet, Squam Lake is not too far North.

I have lived on the lake my whole life. I have to say I don't remember people rafting at least like they do today. I like the activity of the lake. I am just saying I would not like a hundred boats in front of my place. A few is ok.

I can see this becoming a huge issue in the future. When a lakefront owner says something like I just did, the rafters jump on them. It is a very contentious subject.
