62 years old last summer ... then took up playing walking soccer (rekindling my Brit youth) and now will be 63 years young this year !...

Unfortunately, free is not free anymore. They quietly did away from it this year. License will cost the 68+ crowd either 5 or 10 bucks per year. See the fish and game website. Has something to do with license purchases down, costs going up. Glad i got mine two years ago. Sorry for the bad news.

If you were born on or before December 31, 1947, your NH Resident Permanent Over-68 Hunting and Fishing license is grandfathered in. This is a free license that can only be obtained at Fish and Game headquarters or Regional Offices 1 (Lancaster), 2 (New Hampton) and 4 (Keene).

Non-resident seniors pay regular non-resident license prices.

I was on my tablet last night when I posted what I did. I feel bad that those who are turning 68 this year and following years won't be able to get the free license. This change in licensing seemed to come in under the radar. I know I have seen more about hunting and trapping bobcats over the past year, and nothing about the increase in fees for hunting and fishing licenses, as well as doing away with the free licenses for those turning 68 this year (2016). Granted, the cost of a "senior" license is very low compared to a regular resident license, but there is not many things that are cheaper than free.

My wife and I are 38 and 36 respectively. Can't thank the forum members enough for supplying much needed advice before recently just getting land on Sleepers. Life long dream and hope to retire there in about thirty years ( hopefully sooner!)

Yes, converting binary to decimal. This...

00101100 (0+0+32+0+8+4+0+0), corresponding to the location of each 1/0.

In the following order you count the decimal equivalent of a binary number.
