I had the same issue with an American Standard kitchen faucet.
Has a lifetime warranty. Worked perfectly for a few years. Then a slow drip.

Called. They sent out replacement parts. Installed them. Still dripped.
Called again. They sent out same replacement parts. Installed them Still dripped. Instructions included. 2nd time had a friend read instructions and install parts. Still dripped.

Finally went out and purchased a Kohler brand and no drips since.

American Standard. They did honor their lifetime warranty and did send me a new kitchen faucet. I sold that one on eb*y.

I don't know how these manufacturers can foul up a simple faucet. But they do.
