There is an eagles nest on the west side of Clay Point in Alton.
I know that an eagle would not be able to "take" my 12 pound dog far, but to could grab, drop and kill them quite easily. My opinion and fear. As stated above, these eagles have gotten very smart about capturing the recently released fish. An easy meal! I recently watched one hassle a boat just out from me. It was pretty cool to see. I expect the fishermen were surprised! |
