...we were caught in southbound traffic on 93 Monday as leaf peepers were departing NH early due to the rainy weather. We crawled for many miles behind a driver that smoked no fewer than three cigarettes...tossing each spent butt on the roadway.
Other than being clueless, why do people do this? |

probably because there are no more ashtrays in cars... not that this is any excuse for using the world as their ashtray...

Probably the same reason people in boats flip their butts into the lake. Unfortunately, I don’t know the reason but, I remember when smoking was allowed in most public spaces I used to see people drop their butts in stores and grind them out on the floor.
