Default Nope . . .

Just came back from Gilford, past Lily Pond, and it is still ice. There is water around the edges and the structures in the middle but the rest is still ice.

It was mostly ice on Tuesday. There was a strip of water under the airport runway lights and along the edges, but that was it. It has not been very warm or sunny since.

Default Check out Ice Out sources

There are numerous sources of updates on the big lake ice out conditions. Check out http://www.rattlesnakecam.com/iceout.htm for web cam pictures of current status. More occassional photos are posted in the gallery showing other views. There is also a forum called "Ice Out 2007" where people report other links and observations.
Hope this helps,
DBA

We drove by tonight and with the wind we're supposed to get I bet Lily Ponds ice goes tomorrow.

Default truth?

does this mean that we can hold the two week theory to Lake Winni then? or does all this weather throw everything out the window?

Then that would suggest ice-out about the 26th.

Default Ice out for fishing season!

The ice is out and the fish are biting down there. Bass too, though they are off the shore a little bit.

So that asks the question where are the top five fishing spots in Gilford, Gilmanton, and Alton???
