	 | on their way

We've been up there several times and at the end of last week some were actually ripe but most were still green. I was surprised to see the ripe ones so early. Surely not enough yet to make a pie.

with the rain we've had this year they're coming in early. Mountain tops are loaded in a lot of areas- stick to places with designated trails like Major if you don't know your way around though. |

	 | Great Pickins in Gilford

We went to Stonybrook Farm, 128 Glidden Rd. in Gilford today. (off 11A a couple of miles after the entrance to Gunstock) Great High Bush Blueberries. $2.25 per pint. Big and Juicy. Nice spot and a place to remember when apple season comes around. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...1,0.21286&z=12

	 | Blueberries

Blueberries seem to be early this year at our camp. We picked 3 quarts last weekend and still have more to go. There are also still many green ones. Looks like it will definitely be a bumper crop! Bring on the pancakes, buckle and pies!! |
