WOW! Beautiful vessels. Lee's Mills looks like a peaceful little spot. Thanks for the excellent photos.

Default Wow! Wish I had been there.

Oh, how I wish I had taken a day off this past week and gone up there! Next year, you can be sure I'll be taking a drive up and checking those boats out firsthand. Thanks for sharing those fabulous photos with all of us! Great photos! Some of those boats are obviously a labor of love - particularly the Lady Gayle - HOLY SMOKES! (no pun intended).

Default Lady Gayle in Moultonboro Bay

Thanks fpartri497 for the slideshow. I partuiclarly enjoyed looking at the interior of the Lady Gayle and the white bearded gentleman who piloted her through Moultonboro Bay on Friday. She was quite a site!

Default Starting Interest

I sent your photo web site location to a friend who is interested in steam engines. He got excited because he did not realize that there were so many steamboats still in existence. He originally boated on the Great Lakes.
Is there a site or group/club for Steamboat collectors?

Also, if you go by boat to Lee’s Mills during the week of the rally, can you see much or get a dock. I was going this year but got weathered out. Which day of the rally is the best to go?

Default Another Steamship Link

Here is the link to the society, which printed the fantastic book Farewell Old Mount Washington, by Edward H. Blackstone. It has great accounts of history and excellent photographs.
