Need some thoughts about this.....
I just purchased and installed a new kitchen faucet I purchased at Lower'. I notice that the left handle turns tighter than the right and seems to grab a little. Not just imagining, its noticeably does not swing as smoothly as the other handle. Not going to uninstall and take back to Lower', its staying put ! Thoughts? |

Your own recommendation here.

Some really really really good suggestions here as well. (Below) https://www.winnipesaukee.com/forums...ad.php?t=18599 Quote:

That being said, it could be a defective faucet & will have to be returned. New faucets should not bind or turn hard.

Possibly just replace the left side valve stem? Assuming it's a standard brand faucet, this might be a lot easier and cheaper than bringing in a plumber.

The insructions that came with the faucet have a number to call for any issues that arise. I suggest you call the first before disassembling the work you’ve done.
Lowes didn’t manufacture the faucet so their only recourse is to hand you a new one in exchange. That’s a new one that may also operate poorly. Challenge the manufacturer to solve your issue and make a better product. |

![]() If it doesn't have a "packing-nut", you're stuck: cheap faucets won't have one. ![]() Thanks to Hurricane Irma, I just had a plumber install a new water heater: he turned the air blue complaining about his newly-purchased, Chinese-made, in-line ball valve. (And why I won't be having one in the copper line feeding the cold side of the water heater). ![]() .

This is a Delta faucet, and they have a lifetime warranty.
Been down this road with Delta before with another faucet, and they sent me a replacement set of faucet stems with brand new handles. I have the Delta Help Line tel# and will be calling them tomorrow. At Lowes, I had my hand my hand on a Moen but selected the Delta because of the finish, never again ! |

Moen...Delta...Same thing you're talking about comparing Fords and Chevys with those two brands. Every brand has there "premier" line but if you buy apples for apples you're with either in my opinion you're getting the same thing. Disclaimer...I'm not a plumber..

Yes, take it back, there's something wrong with it, maybe something you can't fix. ( I know you said you are not taking it back, but you should. )
